We leave on Tuesday, September 8. I'm still working out the best way of doing this, but here's our intended first day leg of the trip. Single click for larger map. (I couldn't figure out how to add an interactive map of the size that we would need.) It's about 350 miles and should take ~6 hours. Also, I would like to send first day greetings to Mr. Kelly's ALMS '10 class, who will occasionally be following our trip. Any ideas from anyone are welcome. Day one's goal is the Steamtown National Historic Site (click for link), which has a Technology and History Museum on railroading.
